The Sabrina Slims Pattern by Love Notions has always been one of my favorites. In fact, it is the very first Love Notions Pattern that I used. Today, Love Notions is re-releasing this pattern with updated silhouette and sizing— and believe me, they live up to the name, Sabrina!
I was blessed to be part of the group of testers for this release. These pants are comfortable, and a quick sew! A confident beginner can definitely handle the task.
As curvy girls, why do we think everything we wear needs to be oversized? I believe a curvy girl can look put together and beautiful in any silhouette— the key is fit. When they fit well, “skinny” jeans and pants can be very slimming.
The pattern includes a fit guide that will teach you how to identify the fit issues and correct them. This guide alone is worth the cost of the pattern!
As usual for Love Notions, this pattern includes several options. There are front and back pockets, or even welt pockets that can be added, and optional center front and back seaming as well. And for the very first time, there is a projector file available as well!
